README FIRST for 1-K7MHA

Xerox 2101 Customer:    

You have received the 1-K7MHA Xerox 2101 software download file for the 2101 X5 Controller. 

This is a composite patch that should be installed on all EX2101s at v2.2 software.

Problems fixed:
   - 1GJP11: composite patch ID for EX2101 v2.2.
        - 1-FIC9D: Job programmed with Duplex from Tray 7 causes fatal IOT error (3-399).
        - 1-FWLAV: sp.exe crash on 2-up, half-fold, & center staple.
        - 1-FXVO9: "Replace Copy Cart Soon" message and Out of paper in tray 5 causes a hang.
        - 1-ESO41: PCL prints out of alignment on 2101, but fine on 1010.
  - 1-EYSPZ: PCL job will not print uncollated.
  - 1-HY2OM: Cannot print job as individual Half-fold sheets.
  - 1-I5DH9: PS file hangs Fiery if more than 1 copy requested.
  - 1-HPB8Q: Jams with clonk - doesn't recover properly.

NOTE:  This patch may be installed even if some of the included patches have already been installed.
	
This software update was tested to resolve the problems noted.  If your problem is not listed, Xerox is providing you this software in an attempt to resolve a reported problem that may resemble one of the listed fixes.  Should this software fail to resolve your problem, a detailed job scenario and sample job(s) will be necessary for us to further investigate the problem.  You may install this patch following the instructions in CWS4_Fiery_Direct_Q_Inst.doc, or you may install it to the Direct Queue following the instructions in the Release Notes. 

REMINDER:  The system must be rebooted TWICE.  Wait at least 60 seconds after installing the patch before rebooting the first time.  Wait at least 60 seconds after the Start Up Page prints before rebooting the second time.
